Various projects to strengthen our infrastructure in Mellieħa

As part of our plan to improve the electricity distribution system, we have started a new reinforcement project of the medium voltage system in Mellieħa.

This entails the installing of an 11kV cable, to improve the reliability of electricity supply for our customers.

In addition, we are also implementing equipment featuring the latest technology in the existing Mellieħa substations. These devices will increase the flexibility of our network in this area. Thus, if a problem arises, our engineers will be able to restore the electricity supply through alternative sources in the shortest possible time.
