Strengthening the distribution system in Qormi

A total of 377 households and businesses located in Qormi will benefit from a more stable and reliable electricity supply following to the installation of approximately 1km of cable from the area substation.

After conducting studies in the area, excavation works were carried out to facilitate the laying of 5 new feeders to distribute electricity to the consumers of the area.

Currently our engineering teams are conducting the necessary preparatory works to connect these cables to the grid with the aim of providing consumers to access an improved level of service.

This project forms part of a broader initiative to strengthen the distribution system through an investment which has now been doubled to accelerate its completion.
