Strengthening the electricity supply for Mellieħa residents

In Mellieħa, works are underway to connect the 1.8km of cables installed in Palma Street and Għajn Żejtuna Street to the substation and new feeder pillars. This will enable residents to benefit from the new infrastructure.

For these works, a specific analysis was necessary to optimize the area’s electrical supply effectively. It involved laying of cables and installation of new feeder pillars.

This project is just a small part of the ongoing reinforcement projects across the country, all aimed at further strengthening the electricity distribution system.
