Strengthening the Energy Infrastructure

Our ongoing efforts to strengthen the electrical distribution infrastructure continue.

We are adding kilometres of new cable connections between distribution centres, substations and other nodes of the national electricity grid.

In Nadur we’re laying new underground 11 kilovolt cable connections to continue reinforcing our electricity distribution system in Gozo.

We have replaced a transformer at a substation in Zurrieq with a new one, featuring a greater capacity rating and more advanced technology to einforcing our electricity distribution system in this area.

We are investing to provide higher-quality electricity servicesin in Malta and Gozo.
