Another service for Enemalta customers

Enemalta technicians are frequently dispatched  to relocate electrical lines attached to poles or building facades where construction works is set to being.  Works are triggered after the customers  submit ARMS application (Form De) and these jobs takes several days to be completed.

Recently, In St Julians street, a long stretch of  three-phase arial lines was removed from a pole and installed in the underground ducting which was prepared in advanced by the developer to eliminate the pole.

During such operations the area’s electricity supply must be suspended in order to prevent any hazards to workers.

The demand for these types of services has risen dramatically as a result of the increasing building development works. Last year our employees have attended to 1180 requests for such services and so far this year over 400 hundred applications have already been received.
