At the Mosta Distribution Center, the work to replace SF6 has now been completed in accordance with industry best practices. 

The technical team has taken all necessary precautions throughout the process to prevent gas leakages thus safeguarding the environment. 

The used gas was stored in appropriate container and was exported for recycling.  

All this work was conducted in the early hours of the morning in order to be completed before the electricity demand increases, 

As a result, hundreds of customers in the various localities serviced through this distribution center have not experienced any power interruption throughout the entire maintenance process
